Jacek Sienkiewicz is with no doubt one of the pioneers of contemporary electronic music in Poland as well as in Europe. At the same time he is an example of a hard working, individual artist who does not compromise when following his own vision, even if it links with lack of commercial success.

Sienkiewicz started his career in mid 90s as a dj playing hypnotic club music which soon became known as 'minimal'. Shortly after, he started experimenting with his own music production and lie performances.  In 1996 he performed in Warsaw Contemporary Art Centre with his Roland synthesizers  and analogue sequencers. Then he released his debut album under his Recognition label. The following releases resulted from his moving to Berlin. The recordings earning growing popularity among recognized DJs such as Sven Vath, proiliferated with  recognition and resulted in contract with Cocoon Records.

Jacek Sienkiewicz  is not easy to  pigeonhole. He keeps distance from current trends  and follows his own route guided by uncompromising  fusions of tough beats with exceptional musical melancholy. It does not put him off from accepting invitations to parties all over the world. Ibiza or Detroit, huge festival or intimate club – Jacek Sienkiewicz is always there to startle you, hypnotize and then heat up the dancefloor.
