The unique, Saturday event on such an incredible stage gathered about a thousand, hungry of music participants on about two hundreds different kinds of boats. There were some cruisers, German old timers, private yachts and motor boats. Everybody listened to an incredible concert of Antoni Gralak and Dariusz Makaruk and then the armada disappeared.

Dorota Kosz)The promoter of the concert - Boogie Brain Association brought two cruisers and three German old timers for the citizens of  Szczecin who did not have their private transport. The passengers of those ships, altogether 400 people, started their journey at 9 p.m. On MS “Joanna” the party started straight after unmooring . The djs  Jazzmix and Mitch from Berlin delivered the great selections of music. On MS “Dziewanna” Mario and Benn The Ball were also doing the great job. Three old, German ships and the oldest ice-breaker of the world “Kuna” from Gorzow Wielkopolski were closing the parade.

The cruise gave all the participants the great opportunity of looking at their own city from totally different perspective. The parade just after leaving the port went next to Swieta and through Lubczynski Nurt heading The Dabie Lake. The landscapes were amazing. When the parade was approaching the unique stage, we were passing next to more and more private boats and yachts. The view was breathtaking. The atmosphere was incredible thanks to the moon on the clear, night sky. The weather was perfect and merciful considering the fact that the whole Saturday the sky looked like it was going to rain cats and dogs. After 8 p.m. the weather fortunately changed and the night became beautiful without any rain and wind.

Trąbka Gralaka, elektronika Makaruk i fire show Just after 11p.m. the concert started. We could listen to some hypno-electronc jazz. The Gralak’s trumpet interacted with drum and bass rhythms generated by Makaruk. Themusic as absolutely incredible and amazing. There was also an additional attraction of the concert-the fire show performed by “Inko Gni To”. The actors perfectly juggled with fire. “I have never experienced anything like this and I am not a teenager anymore” said Gralak. Makaruk also said: "It is a pure happiness for the artist to experience something like this". Gralak’s trumpet and Makaruk’s electronic experiments created a symbiotic organism resonating with the music and good energy. The lights from the stage and from the gathered boats crated a really unique and breathtaking atmosphere.

Dance floor na pokładzie MS The concert finished a few minutes after midnight. The audience reacted in a very enthusiastic way showing their appreciation for the artists and their gig. When the yachts and boats went away, the boards of the ships changed again into the best parties of that night in Szczecin. The way back was a bit different and this time we could see the huge industrial and port buildings.

The brave ideas sometimes can come true. The Saturday concert is a proof for that. Everybody had a great time – great music, looking at the city from a different perspective and looking for the new opportunities connected with the water in Szczecin. It was showed that the city has got a great cultural potential and thanks to the Boogie Brain Association this combination can come true sooner than later.

The promoters would like to thank all the services and institutions which were involved in the project:. We also want to thank all our partners. The biggest respect goes to Piotr Domaradzki, who coordinated and took care of the ships movemet.
