Not many Polish bands may boast about the fact of playing in Russian Novosibirsk or Tomsk. Yet, it is only a  small part from the places visited by Paprika Korps. They have given performances in over 25 European  countries and in majority of them they are regularly invited for tournee. It’s the first Polish reggae band performing so intensely abroad.

They formed 15 years ago but  played without a band  name as nothing came to their minds. They were dazzled after a year, when it came to playing in their hometown – Opole. It was so good that the name and music rmeained with the band until now.  In 1997 Paprika Korps recorded their first stuff, which luckily didn’t see the daylight. It went much better two years later. Their debut album 'Kolejny krok' was released on a  tape on W Moich Oczach label. The following years brought about more success and established their popularity mainly due to hundreds of live concerts played across Poland.  In 2000 the band run their first tournee embracing 11 Polish cities, including the Bielawa festival. The same year Paprika Korps played abroad for the first time. The next year guys took part in Dresden festival 'Back to the Roots'. Until now they have recorded five albums, each intertwining with long tournees across Europe. And far beyond the continent.
