shed (live)

Shed - German electronic scene star, propagator of modern, ‚true’ techno, drawing inspirations straight from the roots of the sound - Detroit, also a skilled DJ uniquely conjoining techno, dubstep, garage and modern r&b.

He perfected his style thanks to hard work, at first fascinated by  stuff played on radio, later he tried to produce it on his own. He had an affair with UK hardcore, and as he admits he also liked gabba, but in the late 90s after techno he took up mainstream. Shed gave up parties of Love Parade kind, still he preserved his love to music. He started working on his tracks which he had released at the beginning of his career on ’12 on his own label Soloaction. At the same time Shed worked at Berlin Hardwax music store.

It was until 2008, when he had his debut with LP 'Shedding the Past' for Ostgut Ton. That was a breakthrough moment opening door to a colab with the best ones. His tracks are remixed by such great producers as Surgeon or Martyn. Though he produces strictly modern music, Shed claims it wouldn’t be there without reference to tradition.

At Boogie Brain Festival Shed will perform live act.
